Raya And The Last Dragon
In the mystical land of Kumandra, a once-unified realm shaped like a dragon, humans and dragons coexisted harmoniously. This balance was disrupted 500 years ago when sinister spirits known as the Druun began to ravage the land, turning people and dragons to stone. In a last-ditch effort to save humanity, the dragons pooled their magic into a gem, entrusting it to the last remaining dragon, Sisu, who used it to banish the Druun and revive the people but remained in hiding.
Centuries later, Kumandra is divided into five warring tribes, each named after a part of the dragon: Fang, Heart, Spine, Talon, and Tail. Raya, the daughter of Chief Benja of the Heart tribe, is trained to protect the dragon gem, which remains the last defense against the return of the Druun. Despite her father's hopes for unity, the tribes’ mistrust leads to a fateful encounter where the gem is shattered, unleashing the Druun once more and turning many, including Chief Benja, to stone.
Raya embarks on a quest to find Sisu and reassemble the shattered gem to stop the Druun. She discovers Sisu in a river and together they begin their journey, seeking out the scattered gem pieces guarded by the other tribes. Along the way, they encounter and ally with individuals from each tribe who have also suffered from the Druun’s curse: Boun, a charismatic young boat captain from Tail; Tong, a formidable warrior from Spine; and Little Noi, a cunning baby con artist from Talon.
As they collect the gem pieces, Raya and her companions face numerous challenges, including betrayal from Namaari, the princess of Fang, who harbors her own complex motives. Despite initial distrust, Sisu’s unwavering belief in trust and unity inspires Raya to look beyond her grudges and believe in the possibility of harmony.
In a climactic showdown at Fang, the final piece of the gem is obtained, but tragedy strikes when Sisu is killed by Namaari’s accidental action. In the face of overwhelming despair, Raya realizes the true power of the gem lies in mutual trust. She willingly hands over her gem piece to Namaari and encourages her companions to do the same. Moved by their faith, Namaari completes the gem, banishing the Druun and restoring everyone, including the dragons and Sisu.
With the threat gone, the dragons revive the land, and the once-divided tribes come together to rebuild Kumandra as a unified nation, fulfilling the dream of their ancestors. Raya returns to her tribe, reunited with her father, and celebrates the new era of peace and cooperation with her friends and allies.
